Additive Friction Stir Deposition (AFSD) Composite Fabrication Test Station
During the Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Fair, the star attraction at the AEE booth was undoubtedly the Additive Friction Stir Deposition (AFSD) Composite Forming Test Station. This equipment, jointly developed by AEE and IDQ through technological breakthroughs, enables Friction Stir Welding (FSW), Friction Overlay Welding, and Solid-state Additive Manufacturing for various metallic materials. It also provides real-time, high-frequency monitoring of temperature, torque, and pressure during the manufacturing process. Featuring a modular design for flexible functional configurations, the equipment will significantly advance fundamental research and process exploration in China's solid-state friction forming technology. The exhibited equipment received an order from a Guangdong-based client during the exhibition, marking AEE as the world's first comprehensive manufacturer of intelligent solid-state forming technology equipment.

- Data Acquisition and Visualization: The system collects data such as temperature, pressure, torque, speed, and position during solid-state manufacturing, enabling users to adjust and optimize production processes.
- Modular Design: Tailored to diverse research needs, the equipment offers personalized customization through modular selection and specialized feature development.
- Dedicated HMI Configuration: Designed for intelligent solid-state manufacturing development, it enhances user experience and operational efficiency.
- Multi-user platform support: Capable of handling multiple users and tasks simultaneously, improving overall system performance and operational effectiveness.

Type C Friction Stir Welding (FSW) Equipment
Equipped with an intelligent welding quality online inspection system
With the widespread adoption of Friction Stir Welding (FSW) technology, the FSW process has matured significantly. Consequently, the focus has shifted from isolated technological applications to achieving high-intelligence and high-reliability implementation throughout the entire production process. To enhance user experience and elevate equipment intelligence, AEE has dedicated itself to developing an online welding quality inspection system. This system provides real-time monitoring of tool wear data and weld surface quality information, thereby improving product yield rates and reducing resource wastage. The exhibited equipment was ordered by a Chongqing-based client during the exhibition period, marking the first domestic commercial application of AEE's pioneering intelligent online welding quality inspection system.
