Booth No. C219 will make its in-person exhibition debut with the iKIT wireless extrasensory monitoring system, joining industry peers in the fields of Industrial Mother Machines and Intelligent Manufacturing to explore new approaches to manufacturing process sensing and key data collection!
Company Profile
IDQ Science and Technology (Hengqin, Guangdong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “IDQ-HQ”) was established in 2023 and is located in the Hengqin-Macao Youth Entrepreneurship Valley. It is a National High-Tech Enterprise, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Institute for the Development and Quality, Macau (“IDQ”), and the first Macao public capital wholly-owned enterprise to operate within the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The company focuses on the research, development, and commercialization of high-end mechanical engineering equipment and core components, and is committed to advancing the development of smart manufacturing through end-to-end data monitoring, digital solutions, and industrial data services.
Addressing the practical needs of the manufacturing industry in areas such as process control, equipment monitoring, process optimization, and quality traceability. IDQ-HQ deeply integrates sensors, analysis systems, wireless communication, and software platforms. With a full-stack, in-house development of hardware, software, and communication protocols, it provides customers with an integrated solution ranging from real-time data acquisition and display to data analysis, diagnostic traceability, and decision support, helping manufacturing enterprises improve the efficiency of their production processes, increase yield rates, and enhance their level of data-driven operations.
The company’s core product is the iKIT wireless extrasensory system. Designed for the collection of critical data and real-time monitoring during the manufacturing process, this system endows functional components—such as toolholders, shanks, and tool holders—with “mechanical tactile sensing.” In conjunction with a high-precision data acquisition cube, it enables real-time, wireless, high-frequency sensing of manufacturing process information such as force, vibration, and temperature. This transforms changes in force, vibration characteristics, and abnormal conditions—which are difficult to observe directly during traditional machining processes—into precise data that can be recorded, analyzed, and traced.

Perceive Manufacturing Processes, Unleash Data Value
Designed for multiple application scenarios, the iKIT wireless extrasensory system features digital data acquisition at a sampling rate of up to 4 kHz with a wireless signal latency of under 5 ms. Rigorously validated through long-term trials on machining production lines, the system matches or exceeds industry-leading standards in accuracy, sensitivity, decoupling capabilities, responsiveness, and data quality—delivering a brand-new experience in high-quality machining data monitoring for customers. The serialized hardware lineup adopts an IP65-rated protective design and supports innovative functions including continuous acquisition, event triggering, and offline logging. Notably, it takes the lead in achieving 24/7 continuous inductive power supply, expanding its coverage from laboratory settings to full-scale industrial manufacturing scenarios. Depending on actual requirements, different models can capture information such as temperature, acceleration, strain, force, torque, and two-way bending moments, serving as a reliable data acquisition tool for manufacturing process monitoring. Geared toward the demands of advanced smart manufacturing, the iKIT product series provides essential data support for machining parameter optimization, anomaly detection, and quality analysis.

From field perception to data visualization
In addition to the serialized hardware lineup, the iKIT wireless extrasensory system comes equipped with visual analysis software, forming a complete technical ecosystem of "sensing hardware + wireless communication + data analysis software + closed-loop control." The software supports the connection and unified management of multiple product series. It enables real-time display of multi-source high-frequency data, event triggering, persistent data logging, single-set and time-series data analysis, real-time filtering, machining status assessment, time traceability, as well as flexible data import and export. By integrating machine tool machining trajectory data, the software can synchronize machining paths with real-time force or vibration information. It visualizes data fluctuations corresponding to different positions during the machining process in 3D format, providing a more intuitive basis for process analysis, problem diagnosis, and quality traceability. Furthermore, leveraging real-time monitoring data, the software enables closed-loop control of machine tool equipment via analog output and I/O control modules, supporting functions such as alarms, emergency stops, override adjustments, tool changes, and adaptive machining.
The iKIT system can be applied to precision machining scenarios such as milling, drilling, turning, and FSW, and provides solutions for industry needs including machining quality control, equipment overload monitoring, tool wear assessment, identification of tool breakage and chip jamming risks, early warning of machining anomalies, and fault diagnosis.
